Shop Talk: Collaboration for Community Compost Extraction
Hosted by John and Samantha at Chamberlain Acres
7087 4th line Tottenham, L0G 1W0
We invite you to join this engaging session at Chamberlain Acres!
Explore ways that farmers can collaborate to share equipment, labour and resources to be able to work with compost extraction more easily across our region, to regenerate our soils and strengthen community ties.
In addition, John Chamberlain will talk about his own composting practice and you will get to tour his workshop where he retools large equipment to customize it for his farming needs. Spencer Zehr of NaturAll will talk about components of the soil that are often neglected.
Please dress for the weather, because we will spend some time outside.
RSVPs are encouraged but not required, to John and Samantha Chamberlain at chamberlainproperty@gmail.com, or (647) 688-4215. Or reach out to Amna Husain: amnafhusain@gmail.com
